The 2N3643 is an NPN silicon transistor known for its use as a general-purpose amplifier and switch. Though now obsolete, it features a maximum collector-emitter voltage of 30 V, collector current up to 500 mA, and total power dissipation of 625 mW. With a transition frequency of 250 MHz, it was suitable for moderate-frequency applications.
